the survivors, Lodriland is a remnant, survival population from before the Dawn. Once the people lived very much like the pre-Lunar Dara Happans. Now however their ways have altered and they live a day to day seige existence. The people, in a pale imitation of the strict hiearchy of Dara Happan life live in guilds which determine their occupation and the magic they know. These myths are mostly ignored now in favour of the tales of how Lodril saved the people. Most Lodrili would recognize the Dara Happan origin stories though an increased emphasis is placed on Lodril's actions of course. Most of the traditional Dara Happan gods are portrayed as being somewhat ineffectual. Common Religion Much of the traditional magic found in Dara Happa (see pg. 40 of the HeroQuest rulesbook) can be found in Lodriland though many of the talents are unknown due to their uselessness, e.g. Avoid Bad Winds and Dart Against Wizards. People Talents exist as do The Great Parents' magic. League Magic has been replaced by Guild Magic. Specialized Religion - Lodril Pantheon Lodril and Oria are the main deities of this pantheon and some of their sons and daughters. Magic: Divine Aid Other Side: Lodril's realm is at the centre of the world where it is always warm and food is plentiful. There Lodril lives in the Obsidian Ziggurat. Deities The following sample deities as presented on page 41 of the HeroQuest rulesbook are present: Farmer - Navestos the Harvester and Healer - Erissa the White Goddess. The entertainer deity is Pipskos the Drunken Piper Affinities - Piping, Forget Your Woes The Priest-King's guard (shock infantry) follow Hanish the Stead-fast Spear - Spear Affinities - Spear, Lava, Steadfastness.
