Gloranthan Mything Links* Collection

Official motto : De gustibus non est disputandum@

Off to Oliver's web site

NOTE: This is now the website for Mything Links.  The Mything Links that was at www.mythinglinks.blog.ca is now defunct.   The only parts of this website that aren't pure nostalgia are the titles list (which is the "actively"* maintained part of this section, and the Mything Links collection (which is a PDF of full-text titles formely hosted on the old blog).  Other than the ones on the titles list page the links in this section will probably not work!

A big thanks goes out to all the people who've allowed me to host their materials on this and the old sites and a big thanks to thepeople who have helped me with this list and the old blog:  Harald S., Hartmut S., Olivier P., Simon P., and Steve H.

* Active in the sense of when I can get around to it rather than on any regular basis.

What's New?

August 31, 2022 - Actually fixed some broken links.  Mostly to Greg's myths.

April 23, 2017 - Fixed up this page a bit and corrected more links.

February 14, 2017 - Updated titles list and added the Mything Links collection.  This is a PDF collection of all the myths and tales that were formerly housed on the Mything Links blog.

February 11, 2017 - Site "refreshed."  It's been almost four years since the links have been checked last but this is all there is for now.

October 18, 2006 - This site is now history.  All the good stuff other than the links shown above has been moved to the new site.

August 04, 2006 - After a very long hiatus I am back to doing Mything Links.  There's a totally new look, in fact a totally new site involved.  I will slowly be transferring the stories from this website to that site and adding new materials. Eventually this site will disappear entirely, except for the hosted stories. Since the new site is in a blog format you can search the site and pull up stories by category (tags).  Let me know what you think of the new site.  Note that I have removed the lists of myths by topics, region and author to save room on my geocities website.

May 30, 2005 - Added Really Heavy (metal) Gloranthan stuff by Peter Metcalfe.

April 28, 2005 - Added a page for authors listing all the people I need written permission from to have their stories on this website.  If you are one of these authors or know one of them please contact me or forward my need for their permission on to them. Thanks.

March 31, 2005 - Fixed the links to the stories on the Whitewall Wiki.

February 11, 2005 - Added The One Good Goat, or Ragnaglar's only blessing and The Hidden Sheep both by Stuart Mousir-Harrison.

January 26, 2005 - Added Yavor Allfather by Bryan Thexton and RuneQuest III Campaign Log, Speculations on the Anything Egg, Speculations on the Final Combat between Arkat and Gbaji, Speculations on the Nature of Arkat all by Jeff Okamoto.

January 05, 2005 - Fixed links to Wayne's Wide World Web Pages stories and The Smell of a Rat by Alan LaVergne and actually added Rordyvor's Quills this time, oops.  (Thanks Jane).

January 04, 2005 - Mything Links Contest III!

*Why yes I do have to call it mything links blame Terry Pratchett rather than Robert Asprin.

@There's no accounting for taste.  I'm interpreting this to mean that if you find a story here you don't like keep reading and you'll soon find one you do like.
